The clear commitment acquired by society as a whole regarding energy efficiency required in all areas and particularly in construction, backs our endeavour to develop materials which collaborate with the objective of improving the behaviour of new construction systems.

Our low thermal conductivity mortar range intends to achieve high thermal insulation both in new works and in the refurbishment of buildings already in existence. The particular characteristics of the raw materials making up these products confer their low density, leading to them often being called “light mortar”. Our range of products of this type includes light dry concrete, lightened masonry mortar, insulating render mortar, mortar for External Thermal Insulation Systems (SATE · ETICS) and others for specific uses.

The construction standards, such as the Technical Building Code, intend to limit the needs for energy of buildings by setting the maximum thermal transmittance of closures and divisions, in such a way they form the thermal enclosure, establishing the basic energy saving requirements of new or refurbished constructions. The “Building Energy Certification” is established in this way, providing the housing an energy efficiency qualification in terms of its characterising parameters, following the known model for household appliances.
